I was doing a little cleaning in my radio and noticed that I may have moved on these VR adjusters with my swab. Gets a little dusty in there. What do they do and how could I adjust it back? I believe it is the VR 4 that I moved. Does this adjust receiveability (if that's a word)?

I am dont work on alot of radios but I would suggest going to cbtricks.com. You can get a schematic, layout, etc.. of that radio as well as alighnment procedures and such. Or atleast you should be able to.

    Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
