I have looked everywhere on the internet and just can't seem to find anything on this radio. This radio was given to me and I thought it would be a good radio to learn how to modify. Any and all mod information would be greatly appreciated.

Must have been only made one year and dropped. Could you posts some pics? It could have some increased value for being rare.
That radio will tune up pretty good. You can turn the audio up at VR3 and give it a little more power at L2 , now all you would need is a good decent antenna. Good luck .
