I just bought a still new in box Cobra 35-wx 40 ch. hand held CB and to my surprise I am receiving from inside my HOUSE all the stations I hear on my base station I mean all except MAYBE the ones that don't even move the needle on my Cobra 148GTL. I am running new coax the big stuff a Patriot 12about 30 feet up swrs nearly flat how can this be? I was hearing all the skip as my 148 was and I was thinking well that's skip so I tried the locals which are all about fifty miles from me about twenty of them same thing. I have the same receive from the hand held as my base station is this normal?
