:wink: I have been looking at some of the posts about exports verses ham verses CB radios and have come up with some questions 1 Why would anyone pay 300.00 for a at least 20 year old Cobra 2000 when you can buy a brand new 840 yaesu for around 450.00?

2 Why would anyone pay 599.00 for a 2995 ranger when refer to #1 above

3 Why would anyone buy a radio simply because it has a roger beep?

4 THIS is a what do you think question how many think that the person that came up with the ECHOOOOOOOO mic should be shot?

This is all for now but I will probably think of some more :!:

    Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
