Have a friend who has a Connex 3300 that when you close the squelch it won't hear ANYTHING.You can be sitting right beside him on another mobile or on a base radio & you can NOT break the squelch when it's closed? Anyone know what's up with this radio?Local SO CALLED CB tech worked on it THREE times for him at $30 a pop & it still does NOT work.Tech told him he had a BAD GROUND on his pickup(BS)but it does the same thing in other vehicles when other radios work just fine in them all.Anyone got any clue what's up with the Connex?Thanks in advance for your imput.I told him SOMETHING in there is causing that but it did NOT seem to HELP.
