First I'm just going to go ahead and apologize if I have missed the answer to my question here. New to the site, try to find answers so you veterans don't have to keep answering the same simple stuff but......I just had a Connex CX3300HP given to me, picked up a cheap antenna and power connector to see if its going to power up. It does, definitely got to clean all the switches and controls. Found the Owners manual but wanted to get a schematic in case it is needed. I have no SWR meter to tune the antenna with, but not really sure all is working correctly. Would like to get this bad boy up and running, never did CB repair but still have some gear from my Audio Repair days down in Georgia (scope, freq counter, Fluke multimeter). If anyone can point me in the right direction, or has any tips, etc. I'd sure appreciate it.

A SWR meter would be a good place to start. Cheaper than an antenna analyzer. It's a safety precaution. Wouldn't want to blow out the radio's transmit power stage with a high SWR on the antenna.

Different production versions with that model number are out there. The "EPT" number on the main circuit board would identify the correct schemo.

And the incorrect ones, as well.

Thanks for the info and quick responses. I checked the board, have the EPT360014B. Checking in my neighborhood to see if I can find anyone close by that has an SWR meter I can borrow.

Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
