The board is similar, but not exact. The CX33HPC-1 has a EPTDX2912z board. I done some investigating with the pots yesterday evening (with a sharpie marker obviously so I could "go back") and have information on what some of them control. I'll update here with my findings so others can benefit when I get back home.
It's going to be the same as the 66v2, mirage mx-36 to which the 929/979 is really close. Several here have used the 979 as a reference.
