Courrier Centuian 40D no recieve

I picked up this beast yesterday and it has no receive, no audio on AM but SSB has audio.
Tried the relay and phono, ext spkr jacks no dice.
I suspect its the UPC1020H.

Sound about right?


Will a UPC1156H sub these?

I replaced the upc1020 with a brand new one....no difference.
I can hear audio on pin 6 with headphones connected directly to the pin but zilch on pin 10.
13.8 on pin 1

Further investigation showed C193 shorted, 4.7 16V tantalum.
I guess maybe it popped the new upc1020?
I replaced the cap but nothing still so now I'll have to find a new upc1020 I guess.

would the audio chip pop that fast and not get hot first?

It would have been pin 10 the output that was going to ground.
