The CPI base console ( freq counter and antenna tuner) works with the CPI BC base 2000 radio and some other radios also. Does anyone out here know what other radios the CPI BC console works with?

Thanks to all for your help.

I think W9cll is your guy. Pretty sure he knows about these. Maybe he’ll see this and chime in or you could PM him.

It will work with any radio. 7 digit Freq. counter, tuner, pre-amp, clock, 2 different antenna outputs, TVI filter. Nice piece of gear.

YouTube vid describing how it works:

The CPI 2000 has a Local Oscillator output on the back that can be attached to the base console's "Counter in". If you put the switch on the back in the "Pre" position, it will add the 10.200Mhz offset built into the base console and will show you the RX and TX frequency. It will even show the frequency change when the Clarifier is moved.

As long as a radio uses a 10.200Mhz offset, and you can output the Local Oscillator of the radio, you should be able to use the base console with it to get full functionality.

Hi Riverman. world wide dx does not recognize W9cII to be able to converse with. Any other ideas?
Thanks

Click on dxMembers Tab. Enter W9cll in search bar. When his page comes up, hit Start a Conversation. I just checked and had no problem.
