Some stupid with a flare gun burned the place to the ground ...

We've all seen it . wood screws , brain dead mods , worn out tuning slugs , cats sleeping with dogs , Armageddon .

Well , not quite that bad . obvious signs of splicing behind the mic jack and some obvious user defined relocation of wires on the main board near the relay . Oh , and the wood screws ...

If anyone owns the radio (Craig L-231 Base) or has the Sam's photofact please speak up .

update ,
Keys , occasionally , does not demod ssb . Additional diagnosis leads to fubar 7.8 MHZ crystal filter . So , anyone have a

    Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
