Yesterday afternoon I did an experiment with a friend's CRT SS-6900n (v6), into a TinySA spectrum analyser and oil can dummy load.

The test was just radio power and 50dB attenuation between the rig and analyser. On AM and FM, the signal appears to be clean. However, when switched to either USB or LSB, there are spurs that appear between 2.5MHz to 3MHz above and below the fundamental.

Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
