a friend picked up some coax, pre-assembled, from facebook. right out of the gate, that sounded scary. it is white, stiffer than lmr400, has 259's installed, and labeled as following.. Commscope 0216 9700851 10awg 125cmp(etl) c(etl) hns# 1010809 rev c eo22181. i dug around on the web and forums, wasn't able to turn out any results. best guess from all that is that it could be 75ohm indoor video or marine grade. it set his 1.1swr to 2.5. can anybody easily recognize this product or advise? many thanks in advance for information.

I have the same Cable.
This took weeks to get the Information and Specs.

It is a 50 ohm coaxial cable used for video and satellite.
ATTENUATION: DB/100
3.339 DM MIN 4.081 DB MAX @ 500 MHZ
5.220 DM MIN 6.380 DB MAX @ 1000 MHZ
6.210 DM MIN 7.590 DB MAX @ 1300 MHZ
7.740 DM MIN 9.460 DB MAX @ 1800 MHZ
Capacitance: 24 pF/ft nominal
84% for the velocity

many thanks and welcome to the forum. a friend got 2 fifty foot chunks, he used it without issue on his base edit: the original swr problem was tracked down and determined not to be the coax. i should have posted that

The 9700851 number looked like it was RG-6, but then I found this ebay ad and, using the numbers on the spool, found this pdf datasheet (attached). The 9700851 seems to point to a 18AWG cable, but once you look at the 10AWG ones, this shows up.
