Cushcraft ma6b

Not a 6b but I have been using a 25 yr old mab5 for several years.. Its not like full size yagi or a big log periodic but it works pretty well for what it is. Mine sits at 48ft and I have managed to work over 100 countries on it with 100 watts over the last few years. It does better than expected on 10m and about as expected on the lower bands.. good thing is it's a small footprint so windload isn't an issue.

I dont need a monster size the 5 may be a better fit and easier to put up I was also looking at a mfj 1775 found one at a 100.00 off it's still new 250.00

@ the end of the day, the MFJ is just a rotable dipole,...

you may want to consider a Moxon style antenna. It will give you some gain and rejection.

Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
