I have a super star 66hp which is the same as a connex 3300hp, for some reason the radio loses all power. I have looked all over the board for a bad solder joint, with no luck. If I squeeze the sides of the chassis the radio powers up and works great. Any ideas where I should be looking, or what might be the problem?
 

If the main board has been removed from the chassis then there's a chance that one of the screws mounting it inside the chassis is missing. OR, as you have already stated, a bad solder joint near the edge of the board and flexing it (moving the sides) is making the contact again. Re solder the connections on the sides. While they may not appear to be loose, they could be.
