I have a D104 hooked to my Pearce Simpson Cheetah. Does anyone know how to get rid of the pop in the speaker when you unkey and/or key. I tried a diode across the TX/RX relay but it didn't work. Thanks
is that radio relay controlled?you hear a click inside the radio when you key?if so make sure the d104 your using is a tug8 stand with the switch inside set to relay operation.could be that.
Yeah its a TUG8, already tried that. I just also noticed that when I turn the band switch it also pops in the speaker so I guess it's not the mic, but the radio. (Back to the drawing board). Thanks.
Is it possible to be on a lake and have a homing directional beam being emitted from the shore so a person could navigate to that beam's source? For example at night to a jetty.
The American Radio Relay League (ARRL) is the national association for amateur radio, connecting hams around the U.S. with news, information and resources.
