Now, that's funny! I never could figure out why the old D-104 grip-to-talk stands were called "chicken chokers" back in the day. I guess it's an old-timer thing.

If those mics were kept in a storage locker, there's a good chance the D104s are all ruined. The D104 crystal elements are vulnerable to extreme heat and humidity; prolonged exposure can damage them. And I doubt the storage unit they were kept in was climate-controlled. Shame.
This forum does not allow a single user to have more than one username. If anyone wants to change their username contact an admin and it will be done. Multiple accounts belonging to the same member will be deleted without warning.
