Hello all. I have a President HR2510 that I am trying to bring back alive from a hack. Various mods that I wish to eliminate. Someone tried the open clarifier mod and snipped diode 150 right in the middle. I have been trying to look on CBtricks at the schematic and for the life of me can not find it or the value. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
Some of the other mods are the variable power with the SWR/CAL knob, D104 has had 2 more diodes added in series, the small jumper by Q119 cut, only 3 electrolytic caps replaced, a burnt SMT resistor on the FM board, a massive 150pF Murata ceramic cap put in to the right of L123, resistor near Q134 cut, the Bond Loc glue still on all the toroids and the main CPU board, a jumper wire from the main CPU to the PA button/switch and finally a 221K ceramic cap added to L307 and ground on the main CPU board.
Whew.... I have my work cut out for me. Only reason I want to resurrect this rig is because the display is good as is the OEM final and the face plate/body is good shape. After these repairs, if she is still not up to snuff, I guess I have a parts radio. Or I may send it to the guru himself for better evaluation or repair.
