OK, i received a dak IX today and is in GREAT shape, the tubes are very good, but it dont receive well at all, if any! Also, the relay will click upon key but will not put out AUDIO! The meter on the radio shows full modulation, but no output! I need help getting this fixed, what do yall think it may be and if not, who is a DAK EXPERT on working on them, i want to send it to the DAK pro! Thanks

What ever happened? Did you find the problem? From what I have been told, the problem you described, has happened to quite a few others. meters on the radio showing output, but nothing getting out the back. I would like an update if you would. Thanks, JT

    Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
