A 20w dead key with forward modulation? From a Cobra 29? For 100% modulation from a 20w dead key it would need to do 80w pep. I know Dustin's radios are loud but I would like to see one on a scope.

Yea pretty sure that's his "key down competition" radio. Have the average truck driver run it every day talking away and see how long it will last. I have heard good and bad about his radio's. I just don't see the point of over modding a radio like that. As long as people buy into the hype and want to spend their money stuff like that will always sell.
R and R has this gem for $100. Run this with a 4 tube amp. This is more like what I am into, but to each their own.
