Dead Key

Will a radio with low dead key of 2 watts be able to get out. Dead key was lowered to run an amp, but now i want to use the radio barefoot.

mine does (-: but mine also swings forward to about 30 watts ...but yes your radio will work , I suppose how far would be the question ? try it and find out. SK

it will work, you'll probably have lots of audio swing, but not throwing a big key, so your easier to step on.

Although,,,,,The guy in the distance,,,,doesnt need that carrier to hear your audio....so its kinda a two way street. A 2 Watt carrier up close isn't all that bad,,,,some folk's run like half a watt carrier's,,,and sound pethetic up close,,and then again the guy thats,,10 miles away,,,,will never know the difference....In most CB type radios,,,when the carrier goes down the audio goes up....and I said most,,,,lol,,,so dont Ya'll Plow me with the Ol' You know what that wont swing no matter what,,,lol lol
