decent radio?

I was in at the truck stop today, and bought me a antenna mount. when i was checking out, i noticed on their clearance table was a Ranger PPR-TLM1 CB Radio. I was wondering if this are a decent radio, or just junk? It was on clearance for $100.00 i think. Just wondered if any of you guys had/have used one.
 

Cool idea but they had many problems. It's probably on clearance because the tech is tired of trying to fix it.

    Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
