Delta Force

Thinking of getting a new radio and did a little research and its coming down to the delta force. Any pro or cons from the users of this radio ? Besides getting the 11 meter conversion is there any other type of mods that should be performed? I like talking ssb and the reviews on this said it performs well in ssb mode + it has all the bells and whistles I like to. Would like to hear any comments good or bad.

On Edit: I am also considering the Galaxy DX 73 and or 66 But do not know how they perform on ssb. Any feedback ?

mine is awesome.the only mods done were tuneup and swing kit.the only negative thing i can say is the recieve is a little on the noisey side.other than that the radio performs great with all the features i wanted.for sideband it would be nice to have a 6 digit frequency counter.if you want to make a delta force talk check with rollingradios,he knows how to do it.

Kick A$$ Radio

Well after a few emails with RR, I ended up with the Delta Force. I have finally gotten some free time to be able to play (use) with it, And after getting use to the knobs and functions I realized this is one sweet radio. I got to talk to some of the locals, and from all the good reports I got, they really like the sound of it. It sounds great through the talk back but I cant wait to hear it my self. (I got a Astatic D1046B to go on it and Im debating that) The echo is awesome, I like the adjustable power incase of future additions <img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/images/emoticons/wink.gif ALT=""> Its the 2002 model.
