Tough to match up to a Bacharach hit (and, boy, is that song ever the sound of 1967-8; along with Herb Alpert, etc). Always easy to sing, but . . . .
“.. under my skin” , was Sinatra’s big comeback. About 1953. A new sound. Genius of Nelson Riddle arrangement. Believe he performed it every concert. (Frank digging around in old forgotten Broadway shows for another song he could make un-forgettable). Been playing the, “Live from the Sands” version lately.
Casino Royale about as forgettable a show as they come.
