Dipole center connector

I went to an electronics store today and found a neat quick device to use as the center connector for a dipole -

Worked pretty slick.

Looks made from an outlet.

Is it for ladder line, or coax?

It is for a DC outlet. Probably pick them up at a hardware. I used it for coax but it could be used for ladder line .
