DNA Phantom 500

Hey all, I have an opportunity to purchase a DNA Phantom 500 modified to do 2k (more tubes etc.) I can get it for $450.

Is this a quality base linear and is it worth $450 if it is in perfect working order.

just make sure its got good tubes becouse them tubes in it are big bucks if u have to retube it

i ran a 12 tuber for along time and thats not a bad price if its a good one but now im running pills i like the no tuning and turn it on and go dont have to wait

I ran a 10 tube 3 stage Phantom 500 back in the 80s....
And back then the tubes wasnt that much replaced the tubes and relays in it 1 time....
And I gave 250 for mine back then...ran it for 10 plus years....also this was one of the gray color ones too...was a good amp....also ran the gray color Maverick 250 also and replaced tubes and relays in it also...another great amp...

Be sure to take your own wattmeter and Heath Cantenna to test it before you buy!
