They are a great smoke, but IMHO not worth the price we as Americans have to pay for them. If the embargo were lifted, then Monte Cristo #2 would be in my regular smoke section of the humidor, but it costs too much now because of the embargo.

Doesn't mean that (a foreign national not associated with anyone you or I have ever even laid eyes upon) won't buy them from time to time. They go great with MacAllan 18 year old.

I handed out a bunch of 'em at my local hometown bar. It was in the winter and I was home on leave. The whole bar was smokey as hell. Probably 30 people fired them up.

The bar hags opened the doors to air the place out.
