do cb radios need an alignment like exports do ?

ive read many times that exports are loosly aligned in china and can benefit greatly from an alignment . is the same true for new cb radios also ? im also under the impression that a radio should checked for proper alignment when its tuned up and adjusted if need be . i know my 78 comming from sparkys (with free tune & alignment :rknrl ) is gonna be great so im not at all worried about it but i just want to know for furure reference . thanks 8)

the exports are usualy aligned for 10 meters. thats why they need alignment when they are converted for use on 11 meters. but ya i would allways have a radio alignment checked before operating no matter cb or export.
