Do mobile CB radios get out further with higher input voltage?
Regardless of circuit design the miniscule power difference between 14.4 volts and 12.4 volts would not be detectable on the receiving end and only slightly noticeable on a power meter.
Ok thanks just wondering. I noticed every time I start the engine on my daily driver truck, the needle on my Cobra 21 swings a little more farther to the right into the red, that's why I asked. I don't believe there's any interference in the radio either.
Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
