My freind is planning on buying a starduster (nothing big, just something to get him talking to a few people) and I know some antennas have to be in specific intervals of height (such as how the astroplane needs to be 9' increments high)

Also I was wondering if you guys have any tips or hints about this antenna.

Hello Stlickpenguin:

No there is no magic height, or sweet spot in height that will make the any antenna work.

The higher the better.

I have raised many different antennas up on crank up towers, while watching the received Signal Strengths, and even Transmitted Signal Strengths, and never was there a magic, sweet, or special height that was "The Hot Setup"

The higher the better.

Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes

Wes, it's better if you start a thread on the main forum, more people are going to see your question.
