Very true to a point unless of course you're one of the few people who's figured out how to do it in moderation without creating the IMD problem.

Multiband compression. Without it you're forced to cut those frequencies way down and only have the modulation limiter to rely on. That would take the harsh sssss edge off the audio in the last video you posted and let the other good tones in your voice have more presence.
