Dosy fc50 frequency counter noise issues

Hello I have a dosy fc50 frequency counter every time I turn it on some type of huming noice bleeds over to my base station when I turn it off it goes alway any help would be appreciated, by the way I changed the jumpers a couple of times already.Thanks

Did it do it before? What have you done different? A hum is usually a ground loop problem. Are all the components plugged into the same location?

Yes all equment is plug into a power strip has never done that before,also tried to relocate the power adapter from the frequency counter to a different outlet same results

What I suspect is the power adapter might be going on me I will pick up a new one and check.

I had the issue with my tfc-3001. Made a wire and plugged it into my small power supply. The small one because it's 12vdc at all times.

I replaced the power adapter so far so good the humming has left will monitor it
