dtb radio shop sucks

One thing I've read everywhere was not to remove slugs.
Just what is the difference in removing L14 and just backing it out for more power. Whether its peak power or just backed out till its clean. Pretty much from what I have seen on the 29's is it's maxed with the slug flush or one thread showing.

Normally you do NOT remove slugs as it screws up the harmonic filter however when subbing out the final for a MOSFET replacement it may be necessary to do so in order to gain some stability and prevent oscillations. The standard IRF520 is not a great RF device and can be hard to tame.

Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
