If I made a y split and ran two ftm-350ar heads on one base would they both work at the same time ?....of course it can only operate one at a time but ia it possible ?

Not sure I would want to risk hooking them together. How would the processor know which control head to respond too when one is on 146.27 and the other on 147.210? I can really see no valid reason for wanting this. If you want two operating locations then run a separate extension cable to one location and move the control head.
 
LOL it was just a 'going no where's thought....someday someone might try it or ask ! ;)

I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
