I have a Dwight D. Audio good, voltage at final. No trans. , no receive but a hiss in speaker as though it is receiving.

Any ideas as to what to check next?

There is no unlocked pll as of yet. I can troubleshoot this. However, I was hoping someone might give me a quick direction that might save me a little bit of trouble shooting time. Thank you folks so very much.

If you have no receive audio and there is no change in the RX/TX LED when keying; then the first, logical choice is to check PLL lock/unlock.

I tried several microphones just to validate that it was not the mike. I have audio as in pa and I have a hiss in the receive but no incoming segnal. Pll sounds like a logical choice.
