In the '90s I had a DX-100 and a National NC-300 that I used to run AM on 3885. That was a fun rig!

Those are beautiful receivers! The only Hammarlund I ever had was a Super Pro 600, but it had some problems and then it got stolen.
The best big receiver I have now is an R-390. I need to pair a plate modulated transmitter with it and get back on 3885, or whatever 75M freq the AMers are using now.
I had a chance to get a T-368 once upon a time. Now that would have been a super transmitter! I think the R-390 was the correct receiver to go with it, too.
