Hey everyone, I have a TRC-511 radio, and am looking to either upgrade to SSB radio that is capable of DXing. Any suggestions on what i should get for DXing or is there any way to modify my old radio to DX?

Many many folks DX on AM only.I prefer SSB myself but that's just me. As far as upgrading to another radio, The sky, your pocket book & desires are the limits The Titan Roadpro is a pretty decent radio with AM,FM,SSB,freq. counter and all the extra channels for around $100. The Mil-spec. Icom goes for around $5500 and there is LOTS of radios between the two

Can't beat the Titan Road Pro for the money! When set up right you'll be amazed at how good it sounds and gets out

Getting a little harder to find now though......
