dx959 channels are off

i have a dx959 and did the two switch channel mod about 4 months ago. turned on the radio yesterday and all the channels are off and drifting a lot. the radio goes over 29.500.
thanks in advance.
 

I hope you used the correct switches or you might have fried the chip...
 
Sounds like the VCO is out of alignment... try this: Adjust L14, see if you can get the radio to lock back into frequency. Let us know how you get on. Good luck!

(edit) L14 is located left and a little further back from the PLL chip. With the radio knobs facing you, flipped upside down, it'll be located in the front left along the chassis.
