I just pasted the Ebay link on Sig Talk, another forum that I'm a member on. The link shows up for me there. That forum uses a layout similar the old WorldWideDX site.Okay but I don't have ads on mine.

See,that linky worked
And it didn't come from Ebay for a change.![]()
It only occurs on this forum though. I was hoping you might have an answer for that. I can post ebay links on everywhere else and I can see it just fine. I just don't understand why I can't see it on my end on World Wide. You don't get it. Not smashing the computer but beating head against it in frustration.
They ALL worked. When you post an Ebay link it displays the article and some info about it not just a clickable link. Remember on the old site when you posted a Youtube link it displayed the video? Surely to God YOU would remember that. Same thing here with the Ebay linking. The fact you cannot see the Ebay stuff is all on your end.
The average user does not have a clue what has to go on behind the scenes to keep a forum up and running. The endless hours spent by the owners and Admins to keep everything running smooth and correctly.
Thanks for your help anyway CK. I had a problem and I saw that you were on administrative duty today so I thought I'd see if you'd help. Haven't understood the issue yet but I'm sure that it will be resolved. And every once in a while we press the WRONG button and something works again.![]()
It happened I guess after WWDX changed. On every other forum I'm on I can see my links. Must not be optimized for iPhone.I think what's happening is when you post you link, the site's software connects to the link and lets ebay know it's been linked. in return ebay sends a flash realtime snapshot of the page to put in it's place.
iphone doesn't allow flash, so for you it disappears, for everyone else it's an interactive ad.
nothing you or the site administrators can do about it.
WWWAAAAAAA!!!!I use a Motorola Android phone and still see the Ebay links. I keep forgetting that some folks use an inferior I-Phone. LOL
I'll get DTB to work his stuff on my TRC-422A&421A and Midland 1001Z. Maybe I'll even get him to take a look at my TRC-428.
