Does anybody know if Everhardt antennas are top loaded or helical wound? Can't find their website or any info on this... Also, what are your opinions on the Everhardt SOTT vs Wilson FGT?

Thanks

I preferred my 5' everhardt antenna over my wilson silver load. mine is an old school with a top hat on it, so I don't know how it compares to the SOTT.

cbworld lists the superflex with this line - "Super Flex" antennas are top loaded helically wound around a 1/4" fiberglass rod with "Super Flex" to help prevent breakage

I have a 4 footer, and it appears to be top loaded. Performs about the same as my Wilson silver load and Skipshooter. Both of these are 4 footers as well.

Well I loved the performance of my Wilson SilverLoad so much I ripped it apart and made a very livable 1/4 wave, 102" mobile antenna using a simple lazy wrap, 4-5 turn wire around the fiberglass, and the tuning tip holder for holding a shortened Wilson 1000 whip. Now I have a sweet performing antenna for the 10m/11m mobile.
