I've only had one import, and that was a Stryker 955. I had so much fun with that radio. I'd defiantly buy one again.

One of the local guys I talk to (20 miles) uses a Mirage 88 mobile radio as a base station. Gray 2-pill base amp and I-max antenna.
I know nothing about that radio but it is one good sounding rig on both AM and SSB.

The Mirage 88 is very old, it's a Galaxy 88 copy. Great for loud booming trucker audio on AM, it will drift like a sailboat on SSB.
