Yupp I agree... I have a Uniden PC-122 that sounds loud and proud and absolutely bodatious on SSB and thats with a noise canceling Microphone I have alot of radios and I dont use half of them but I know if I ever need a quick radio to setup that radio will always work and sound like a big dog on the airways. Its such a simple radiobut yet a huge sound and with little effort or work and the simple mods I did like rifieran Epander channel kit and the audio adjusted at a clean sounding 100% it is everything I ever would have wanted a Export radio to sound like. I am the same way The power is at 20 watts but clean and clear sounding. I am a fidelity sounding buff myself power can be made from the external help theres no need to drive the p!$$ out of a radio.
