Has anyone used the external frequency counters such as Aries and Galaxy, the models I am most interested in are the ones that connect into the antenna feedline. Do they give accurate readouts on both am & ssb.

Ive got the one similar to the aries and on am it works great just need to turn mic gain completely down for accurate measurement.
