Cleaning out my desk drawers and figured id share a picture of some of my failures/abandoned projects. Lots of cuss words in this bucket. Never give up.

Is that a 2510 CPU board, is it viable or repairable or the chip still good?
That board has been in the bottom of my desk drawer since 2016. When I got the radio, it didn't work (can't remember the fault). I wasn't interested in fixing it at the time and it happen to have some little green inductors I needed so it became a parts radio.

You are welcome to it if you want to try it. I have no intention to work on 2510/2600 radios. The rest of whats left is in the shed somewhere.

I assume that CPU board has a few missing parts though.

I think it was a bad final, and I did just go look at the radio and the final is missing. Most of that CPU board looks intact, maybe a couple parts off a bad one and it could be up and working. I thought the display and everything worked before I gutted it, but I am not 100% sure. I don't remember a control/display issue. Not sure what happens when the CPU goes bad but I never had the impression it was. If I had to guess, I'd say that CPU chip is fine.

One mans trash is another mans treasure, or so I have been told. There is interest and it's worth something on the chance the chip is good alone. I'm interested in the whole board though and whatever you have left of that radio.
