why do some folks care to care so much about RMS watts ? the pills we use are rated in PEP watts , AM relies on deadkey and PEP watts to make a decent modulated signal and SSB is only about PEP .

why does RMS watts matter ?
 
well booty now i have a peak meter so i can tell you its nearing 300 with my 2547 into it with the variable all the way down. and thats on am. works good, good little box i like it i hope my buddy likes it. and i put a cap in it for ssb delay.

    Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
