Hi folks.Just joined the club. Many of my web searches landed me here so I figured it was time to climb aboard.Anyway,I have this old motorola ssb radio that I'm trying to get going and it needs a final rf transistor. The number on it is 2sc1817.I cannot find this thing anywhere and was wondering if anyone knows if there is a replacement for this that I can use.Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.Much thanks,Alex

The 2SC1817 is a rebadged 2SC1307. So if you have a 2SC1307, 2SC1969, or 2SC2312, you can use any of those three to substitute the 2SC1817. If you go with an equivelant, then Robb has the correct number with NTE236 or ECG236.

~Cheers~

Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
