ok , so im thinking about this again . LOOK OUT !! 
i think i can handle a single 20 foot radial of the 3/4 inch . the extra height weight and leverage going another 3 foot higher worries me though . i think a maco is about 20 or 21 feet when tuned to 11 meters and halfwaves are still good antennas . so why not just build it as a shortened 5/8 ? or would there be some tuning or other benefit to making it a 18 foot half wave ? thoughts ? opinions ?
