WooHoo!!! I just had my very first 10M contact/QSO

It was with PY5AS at 22:33Z Today on 28.455.

I finally got a 10M dipole up two weeks ago and have been trying for a contact since then, when the band has been open and today was the day.

Not bad for an old Radio Shack HTX-10, running at 25W that I bought off qth.com

I realize it might not seem that big of a deal to most of you but for me, this was my first DX contact and first logbook entry.

I'm a happy camper!!!!!

    Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
