I bought this counter the other day and it has a "check" function that displays 10.000000Mhz
Does anyone have experience with Fluke counters?
Does this mean the TCXO is calibrated or does it need further testing?

thanks

That looks perfect for the TCXO. The circuits that feed it the signals to compare might or might not need adjusting. I have a very big soft spot for Fluke equipment. I buy them every chance I can.

ok thanks.
So I need a rubidium clock to hook up and say the same?
There are cheaper calibration standards. I bought one that was a TCXO 10,000,000
.05 ppm. I sent it out and had it calibrated and use it as a transfer standard.
