There were some very good Citizen radios. A friend had an MPL-5 mobile. It sure was an ugly radio, but man that thing could talk. Huge modulation on AM and worked excellent on sideband too. It had lots of extra channels as well; I think it had the 02A PLL chip in it........

Yep, they are Cybernet chassis with 02A. Great radios!
