I have had both. Magnum is not even in the same ball park as this radio. My opinion

They're the same radio inside except the Magnum had some slight changes that made the receive better.

I'd be interested or honestly you could probably do pretty well on eBay right now. Everyone is stuck and home and bidding like crazy on radios. Seen lots of radios get more than they are worth right now

Someone called Delta 1 wanted it. We made a deal I was supposed to ship it the following day. Never heard from him again. I guess it was a good thing. I ended up selling it for more money. I really liked the radio and everyone said it sounded good but I never used it enough to keep it. I am clearing out radios.

So I've been looking around the www for this radio as well as the Magnum, but not finding any. Could you recommend a similar radio with the same functions? How's the anytone 5555? Thanks

yep, AT-6666 about only thing similar. The Optima has a fan. The 6666 desperately needs one. Gets blistering hot if yer a gabber.
